Accessibility
Boats will be accessible for folks with wheelchairs, mobility aids, and strollers.
Our sales kiosk is street level and easy to access. The path from the parking lot is interlocking brick. Accessible parking is located 350 feet from our kiosk.
Our docks are on the river walk in the Forks port. There is a ramp leading down from our kiosk to the river walk. The docks are 450 feet from the kiosk. Therefore it can take a few minutes from top to bottom, so we do recommend allowing yourself a little extra time to navigate the ramp when planning your trip. The docks themselves are equipped with handrails and are remarkably stable. We have an accessible gangway on the dock with a transition plate that bridges the gap from the riverwalk to the dock..
However please note that from the dock to the boat, there is always a small gap and there is some slight movement to the boat. Our captains lash the boat tight to the dock and our dock staff along with the captains are there to aid in this final step to boarding. Folks have boarded in all types of wheelchairs.
Our dock staff are always nearby to assist everyone in boarding safely and comfortably.
